Ta Vie Consulting helps businesses identify gaps in their user experience, then designs the strategies and tools to close them.
Let's talkAbout
Rose is a UX and product strategist with a background in behavioral research and AI product strategy. She spent years at Gallup, one of the world's leading research and analytics organizations.
Every engagement starts with one question: where is the gap between how your users actually behave and how you've built for them?
That gap is sometimes a product that doesn't exist. Sometimes an internal workflow nobody has named as a problem. Sometimes an AI feature your team built that users aren't opening.
Rose identifies those gaps. Then helps you close them: through strategy, advisory, or proof-of-concept builds.
Based in Chicago. Working with corporate teams and founders across the US.
What I do
How I work
Researching the friction your users experience and translating it into clear strategic opportunity. Before it becomes obvious to your competitors.
Helping teams decide what to build, what to cut, and how to position it. Grounded in user research, not assumptions.
When a problem needs a working solution to get internal buy-in, building it lightweight, real, and fast enough to test with actual users.
For teams that need ongoing strategic thinking, not just a one-time deliverable.
A note on AI
Companies are building AI features their users ignore. Not because the technology is wrong, but because the human part gets skipped.
Ta Vie Consulting advises teams on AI adoption strategy grounded in behavioral science and cognitive psychology. The work focuses on three questions: Should you build this feature? How should it be introduced to users? And how do you design the experience so it fits into existing user behavior instead of demanding new behavior?
Most failed AI adoption comes down to one mistake: optimizing for capability instead of habit formation. Users don't adopt tools because they're powerful. They adopt tools that reduce cognitive load at the exact moment they need help.
Work
Consumer fintech · UX research · Zero to one
Most personal finance tools were designed for users who enjoy tracking data. Through user research, a different user emerged: adults with ADHD and cognitive overload who weren't failing at budgeting due to lack of discipline. The tools simply weren't built for how their brains work.
Ta Vie Finance was designed around a single behavioral insight: users don't need more financial data. They need one number — what can I spend right now, without doing any math.
The result is a live iOS and web app built from the ground up for the user every other finance app had given up on.
Live on iOS & web. Real users. Continuously iterated.
Enterprise creative · AI workflow · Internal tool design
Large creative teams spend heavily on licensed image libraries (Getty, Shutterstock, agency photography), yet most AI image tools ignore those assets entirely. The risk is real: AI-generated images can produce content that mimics or fabricates copyrighted material, exposing companies to significant legal and financial liability.
That gap was identified and a tool was built that allows creative teams to use their existing licensed assets as direct inputs for AI-generated, on-brand graphics, eliminating the fake image risk entirely.
For one enterprise creative team, the tool also replaced the need for a third-party platform, reducing external software spend and keeping the entire workflow in-house.
In active production use. Reduced external tool spend for the team.
Good fit
Your company holds licensed creative assets that aren't generating enough value. You have an internal workflow problem nobody has built a tool for yet. You're building AI features and struggling to get real user adoption, not just downloads. You want strategic thinking grounded in user behavior, not just execution.
If any of that sounds like your current problem, I'd like to hear about it.
